We are pleased to announce that Dr.-Ing. Ahmed Khoja has been appointed Professor of Sustainable Building Construction and Product Management at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology (THD), Faculty of the European Campus Rottal-Inn (ECRI), effective 15 March 2025.

In his new role, Dr. Khoja will focus on the development of sustainable, resilient, and technologically advanced construction approaches that are aligned with natural systems and regional cultural contexts. His research emphasizes climate-adapted and resource-efficient building practices with a long-term perspective on climate change impacts, while maintaining and valuing local construction traditions.
